MBSE® is a dynamic exploration of mindful creativity that weaves core MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) practices (meditation, body scan, yoga) with artistic exercises (writing, and drawing).

Awaken creative inspiration and reduce stress.

Instructor: JANET SLOM MFA, certified MBSR Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor MBSE® founder and award-winning artist. MBSE requires no prior art or MBSR experience.

MBSE: Mindfulness Based Self-Expression® 2-hour Workshop Immerse in foundational MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) practices (body scan, sitting meditation, walking meditation and mindful movement), and explore mindfulness through creative exercises (drawing, journaling and communication).

Participants will learn simple and fun daily practices to tap imagination. This workshop teaches skills for compassionate listening and deepening authentic self-expression. Participants discover practical ways to stay present with kindness and compassion in the midst of vulnerability and challenge.

The creative process does not require any art skills. This workshop will plant and nurture seeds for a mindful creative journey and ways to deal with stress.

Wear comfortable clothing and wear layers in case it gets cold. Bring a mat.
